About Me
I’m Patrick Abanathy: Western Kentucky native, husband to my amazing wife Elizabeth, and photographer who’s been capturing weddings since 2013. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me in the garden, baking, traveling the world, or getting inspired by everything from indie rock to 80s pop.
Photography has been my passion for decades, and growing up right here means I’m never at a loss for the perfect backdrop. Whether we’re at a familiar local venue or exploring a brand-new setting, I love finding those ‘unseen’ angles that turn a moment into a masterpiece.
Our Style
I would describe my style as photojournalistic with just the right amount of traditional poses, editorial moments, candid captures and artistic flare. In short: I take every opportunity to capture amazing images in both traditional and new ways.
True Color Style
We capture your wedding day in a way that accurately and timelessly speaks to your own memories. Later, after editing is complete, we handpick a few we think would look great in black and white or with more exaggerated tones and offer those options alongside your original images.

Enhanced Lighting: when practical (and when time allows), we bring additional lighting along to better capture your reception and traditions while also working with simpler lighting and natural sunlight to capture beautiful and breathtaking portraits of you and your wedding parties.
